POKEMON

.          MY FAVOURITE CARTOON 😍

POKEBALL GO..ma favourite cartoon..Lately one of my family friends used to complain about her daughter saying that she is too obsessed with pokemon. She orders for pokemon  books and cards whenever she goes to borders book stall.Once her mom asked what would you wish for when Geenie appears infront of you to which the little girl replied that she wants to meet real life Pokemon and evolve into Eveei(her favourite Pokemon)😀..Her Google search engines, you tube is flooded with pokemon..This reminded me of how much I used to admire it as a child.. POKEMON has become so famous all over the world..It was one of the first cartoons i started watching since first standard when i was in Muscat.I used to collect pokemon cards,tazos,chips..In those days, those who buy KFC lunch box will get  free pokemon cassettes(i love it when I hear the word free😛)..I had a collection of 10😎..I used to have pokemon tshirts, bag, pouches too.I even had dreams of marrying the  hero of the series Ash Ketchum and conquering the Pokemon world with  him.Infact I used to get jealous when other female characters in the series develop a crush on him😂😂😂...I admit he was my first crush
PLOT- .After he turns 10 , Ash Ketchum, is allowed to start his journey  and dreams of becoming a Pokémon master. On the day he is to receive his first Pokémon, Ash wakes in a panic, having overslept. Professor Oak, the local Pokémon researcher, has already given away the three Pokémon (BulbasaurCharmander, and Squirtle) he entrusts to new Pokémon Trainers when Ash finally reaches Oak's Lab. The only Pokémon that he has left is a Pikachu, that he gives to Ash. Determined to make it on his journey, Ash does his best to befriend Pikachu, but it does not trust him and will not even return to its PokéBall, even attacking Ash with its unique electric powers. It is only after Ash protects Pikachu from a group of angry Sparrow that Pikachu realizes how much Ash cares, leading it to save Ash. Afterwards, they both see a mysterious and unidentifiable Pokémon that spurs both of them to work towards Ash's goal.
Along the way, Ash makes many human and Pokémon friends as he works his way through the ranks of the world's many Pokémon Leagues. Through the Kanto Region, Ash befriends Water Pokémon trainer and erstwhile Cerulean City Gym Leader Mistyand Pewter City Gym Leader and Pokémon Breeder Brock , and all the while thwarting the plans of the Team Rocket trio Jessie, James, and Meowth, who want to steal Ash's Pikachu and any other rare Pokémon they come across. When the group travels to the Orange Islands, Brock decides to stay with the local professor, leaving Ash and Misty to continue travelling together. After a while, they meet and begin traveling with Pokémon Watcher and artist Tracey Sketchit. Once the trip is completed, Brock rejoins the group as they travel back to Kanto. Once they reach Pallet Town, Tracey decides to stay with Professor Oak. With this news, trio continue journey to Johto region. The story goes on in 4 series-advanced generation,Best wishes,XY series, sun and moon. These are filled with lots of fun and adventure ..
Although the cartoon is world famous, nobody knew its creator SATOSHI TAJIRI..this great prodigy has Asperger's syndrome & was a high school dropout..He never promoted himself n achieved stardom  due to his social adaptation problem(reminded me somewhat of my childhood)..His interest for bug collection motivated him to create ideas..After growing up his interest shifted towards gaming..He was so obsessed  that he cut high school class to play games and eventually ended as a  drop out. Then he decided to make his own games..  He studied electronics at a Tokyo technical college, and in 1981 started up a little video game fanzine called Game Freak, under partnership of ken Sugimori..After great struggle with ups and downs, finally Pokemon games were released in 1996.. Today it is the most watched cartoon & most played video game..
So my message to all parents and adults is  to stop being judgemental and start blaming the genetics when any of you see a child with autism, down syndrome, dyslexia, specially challenged children or even your classmates whose academic performance is not good..NEVER GRADE THEM AS AN IDIOT,DUFFER OR MENTALLY RETARDED BY SEEING THEIR SCHOLASTIC PERFORMANCE & SOCIALISING FACTORS ..Who knows they might become famous like Satoshi one day😀..

FUN FACTAs a tribute to his friend and mentor, Taijiri named two of Pokémon’s main characters after himself and Miyamoto. In Japan, the boy we know as Ash is called Satoshi, while Gary is called Shigeru.

WONDER WOMAN,I SALUTE YOU🙌🙏

WONDER WOMAN
As  little girls , most of us used to read  Cinderella, snowwhite, Disney princesses and stories where prince charming comes in their horses to save them from wrath and both live happily ever after..But  life is not like these fairytale stories in today's world where there is eve teasing, gender harassment and discrimination, violence in the form of verbal, physical, sexual abuse at home, school, college, office, streets, shops...And we women can't expect prince charming to be our saviours all the time, who at times can be our abusers too...We should learn to be independent and stand up on our own feet and fight our battles by ourselves. All little girls out there,it's time to  throw away those barbies ,Disney princesses, soft toys in the bin ,cause a new warrior has risen..We ve seen only male superheroes like superman, spiderman, batman ,but a female superhero is something new...Ladies should depict her as the new role in their hearts..She encourages women to stand up for themselves,to learn to fight ,and be strong,so they don't have to be scared or dependent on men..You don't need a king to become a queen or a prince to be a princess.Be a strong woman and show your wonders to the world..Tats what WONDER WOMAN teaches us..
Ever since it's movie was released in town ,I was so thrilled that I decided to see it in the  midst of my hectic exam preparation..With great difficulty ,i convinced my parents and went to watch the movie in the theatre..Tat too all alone in the theatre 😨😩(late show so most of the CAT crowd finished watching the first show and I was Home alone😰 or rather theatre alone😂)..But i took it as a challenge and watched it..That  was the most exhilirating and independent feeling of my life and I was feeling like a crazy wonder woman myself having changed 2 buses to come to cinepolis  just to take a look at this amazing lady😍😘..Gal Gadot is the most sexiest mother and actress(fact-she was 2nd trimester pregnant while shooting for the movie)...I  still remember seeing her shooting arrows and I felt it  almost pierced me(really thought of running out of the theatre😓)..Seeing her jump from buildings and rooftops to save the people around her gave me goosebumps..My parents even gave me a red flag signs through whatsapp not to imitate her ,even at this age😂😂😂.. Although i went empty stomach ,after watching her movie, my satiety centres were stimulated and I was feeling so contended and satisfied.
I'm not at all a movie buff and I admit it frankly that I hate superhero movies to the core..But wonder woman is the most sensational movie I've ever come across and will remain close to my heart. And all girls believe in yourself and your potential cause there is a wonder woman within each one of us,ready to explode out like a shooting star  and shine in the sky like a diamond..
This is greatest tribute to the most inspiring cartoon character of my life..WONDERWOMAN,I SALUTE YOU..

VOYAGE MYSORE COORG

FIRST TRIP WITH BUDDIES
It is a die hard wish of every college Student to go for a trip with their buddies..I usually go for family trips to different parts of the world, but never went  for a trip with friends..It got delayed everytime due to fear(blame my protective upbringing and also being a girl), priority change after becoming a medical student and my social awkwardness..It is always fun to travel  when you're with like minded people and I'm very picky about that..That's when chippu(Dr Shilpa) offered me to join as a member for the Mysore trip..At first I was hesitant, but later my mom told me to go and create memory since I didn't have any memories in my college life..So I said yes..Then after that Dr Priya(piyachang),Dr  Rovy,Dr Varsha,Dr Soni(pattu),Dr Aathira(Kadikutty)also joined ..There on October 29 2017 at age of 25 years young ,after getting CL for my coolest posting of medical school(radiology ),I went for the first trip with my 8 college buddies to Mysore..
We went on an red coloured SUV Innova I guess and started at 9:30 pm from our college..Dr Abdul and Dr Appu our classmates were like our brothers, drivers, caretaker and guides of 7 girls who actually took utmost care of the whole trip from our stay, food, accomodation etc better than any tour guides..You guys should actually become tour operators..
Day 1-We went to Mysore Saint Mary cathedral where we all freshened up ,took pics there had masala dosa ,tea and started for our trip..
First we went to museum with antique collection of Mysore sandalwood and items made of it..It was so good to look at and smell although too costly for the budget of unpaid medical interns..
Then the historic Mysore palace with great domes, arches, walls, painting, antiques and portraits of the members of royal family of the Mysore..It happens to be a heritage site of Mysore and one of the cleanest cities of India..Took some great pics there.
After having lunch there, the boys drove towards Vrindavan Garden..It happens to be a huge garden with variety of flowers, fountain,a big dam,greenery..Night time there was musical fountain where they played some hit Kannada raaga..After collecting and taking head count of the girl gang,we headed towards Mysore Coorg route..
There was a great confusion and we ended up not getting the hotel room that was pre-booked ..But we toughie travellers were  never the ones to give up in such demanding situation and adjusted in a simple lodge.Again thanks to our guys for that..After having nice parota and chicken curry,we all had bath and went to sleep..
Day 2-After waking up we all had dosa and chutney and got set for our trip to TIBETAN MONASTERY ..For many years,Tibetans had settled in Mysore and this area was given to them by government of Karnataka..This colony had shops, hotels,Buddhist monastery..There were many buddhist monks there too who were going for training , meditating to become great sages, giving up all luxuries of life.. Developed an inner peace after going there..
Then we drove for dubare elephant caves..I got the privelege of doing the great river rafting which was an activity in my bucket list..All 9 of us Rove the raft so nicely in the rough river..Then we headed towards Coorg and stayed ..
Day 3 -We spend time in hill station in Coorg..It was quite freezing cold.We saw Abbey falls and a cathedral..On the way,we were on the toy train which is something we enjoyed..After driving through the roads, having chappathi and chicken curry and enjoying the hill station,we headed back to our campus..On the way, most of the girls except for me,Chang, chippu had motion sickness due to the winding, hair pin bend roads and Abdul's fast and furious driving skills(wish I could drive like that one day)..
It was one day that I enjoyed with all my heart in my college life and I hope such days I get to enjoy with such amazing people..I know all of us will be busy later in life..Looking back at these great moments after becoming grand old specialists will give joy in our hearts..
What makes a journey memorable is not only the lovely places. But the great people who accompany you for the expedition..It was the perfect getaway with the perfect travel mates. Love you all..

Adventurer's Andaman😎

SUPER DUPER ANDAMAN

Being an adventure freak who keeps  travelling since childhood (a passion which I inherited from my dad),I always loved the idea of traveling to one place every year and wish to implement it in my life..5 and a half years of my medical college life didn't allow me to do that..I waited eagerly for 16 March 2017 to wait for my internship to get over and for the that d day which finally arrived..Here I am going to the well kept secret of India..Andaman😍 . I used to nag my parents every time saying I wanna go jet skiing, scuba, snorkeling..After getting tired of their stubborn daughter's demand, they had no choice, but surrender..On March 26 ,they took me to Andaman..As tour guides say, ours is an incredible country..But I had a big doubt whether it caters to the adventurer's satisfaction..I was totally mistaken about this place and it happens to be the best place for every youngster to enjoy at an economical rate..

Day1-jet skiing..it was fun perched on the front with the driver behind me wading through the sea with water splashing all over..Oh loved the  adrenaline surge it gave  me...Then sound and light show at central jail which showed struggle of what our freedom fighters went through to save our country from being looted by foreigners..
Day 2-Visit to great cellular jail.
Great cellular jail at Andaman is where millions of freedom fighters lost their lives after fighting for our country against Britishers standing still today...Every cell, brick, gallows and the ropes have a sad story of hardships these brave hearts went through..Struggles ,blood n sweat of our fighters is the sole reason why our country is standing independent and strong with people of all caste, religion, race, living together in harmony..We all  must respect these fighters for the pain and sufferings they went through at that time for our country's independence in contrast to the present kalyug where prisoners who commit great crimes, murders, rapes  enjoy luxury treatment in Tihar jail with their political power and influence.

Then came the trip to Ross Island..We waited for our cart to take us around the island
Few miles from Port Blair is the Ross Island, once an administrative headquarter for the Britishers, before an earthquake rocked the Island in 1941. The British then left the island and took settlement at Port Blair, since then the Island could never recover from the decay and neglect which had set in. Slowly but steadily the nature took its toll, as banyan trees engulfed the buildings thus replacing the structures created by man. This island makes you nostalgic and takes you back in time when this was an administrative settlement for the Britishers. The Indian Navy has rebuilt some of the old buildings like the bakery and the local stores, from where souvenirs are available.I enjoyed there playing with a stag who proposed to me😝😛 and learning history of course.. Seeing the Indian flag flying in the sea breeze

made me feel patriotic and woke up the Indian in my heart..

Then Came North bay island..I got fascinated hearing this..The Rs 20 red coloured note Indian note showed the place which actually happen to be North bay island..This place has the maximum oyster pearls in India. It is a popular destination in Port Blair. The beach and the snorkeling opportunities in its fringing coral reefs are the closest ones you will find at Port Blair. A ferrywill take you across Aberdeen Jetty and bring you back after 3 hour. The corals at North Bay are rather good and spread over large area. You're very likely to spot many fish, a lobster, or even clams on the coral reef. When at North Bay, it is time to relax and enjoy. Options such as Snorkeling, Scuba Diving and Sea Walk are also available.Me and my family did glass boat ride. .I did my first snorkeling here and it was sexy😎

Day 3..After a tiring day,we woke up early morning at 6am to wait for our ferry to take us to HAVLOCK ISLAND.. Havelock is a picturesque natural paradise with beautiful white sandy beaches, rich coral reefs and lush green forest. It is one of the populated islands in the Andaman group with an area of 113 sq. km. and is located 39 km of north-east of Port Blair.
This island, with beautiful sandy beaches fringed with green canopy of the rain-fed forests beckons everyone to enjoy the frolic and fun at the azure sea.
It is also one of the costliest places there..
Few miles from there is Radha Nagar beach which happens to be one of the cleanest beaches in India with crystal clear water..I even did some swimming..
Then came the most memorable adventurous and sensational sporting experience of my life..SCUBA DIVING..with great difficulty,I pestered my parents to allow me do it..
Underwater world is an amazing life deep down with lot of corals, fishes, algae, ornamental fishes, crabs and a mysterious life unexplored..As a beginner in diving,i was taught hand signs to rescue like thumbs up for going out and thumbs down for inside water,n for fine and not fine 2 other hand signs, mouth breathing, since no communication is possible underwater..My eardrums were almost about to burst with chest tightness, headache, breathlessness initially when I went 6 feet below and I thought I was almost about to die..Tats when my instructor encouraged me and taught swallowing, closing nose and blowing out through mouth(tonybee test),mouth breathing demonstration..I could feel all Ear anatomy, high altitude chapters, decompression sickness, caissons's disease in medicine going inside my head the more deep I went inside..Also I had nightmares of seeing sharks infront of me which fortunately didn't happen...Variety of oyster pearls, coral reefs, fishes were there and I felt like a part of the movie finding nemo..I actually started enjoying the more deep I went and didn't feel like coming out after 1 hour diving.. Scuba diving 20 feet below the cold ,blue and clear deep sea at Havlock Island was the best ever adventurous sporting experience of my life which I'll cherish forever.Thank you scuba instructor Toku sir for being my Savior, guide and to escort me down the sea like a gentleman...I advice every girl and guy to try this at least once in your lifetime before you die..You'll come out like a new person out of water😎..
After this experience I even made bucket list of diving in the great Barrier reef and scuba with dolphin, penguin and if possible WHALE☺️..
On 30 th morning ,I left this lovely place..This place needs good tourist guides, tour operators to promote and make it a world class tourist spot..There are more amazing islands in Andaman and even Nicobar islands, where there are violent tribes so tourist are not allowed to go there, unless you are doing tribal studies..Also due to the lack of time,me and my family had to go back..There is also a medical college there ,attached to the central jail(boy I should've studied there man😉)..I wish to come back here again.Till then goodbye..
